This lithium-ion battery works with any 40V tool of Redback. It has a capacity of 2 Amperes capable of powering a tool that can last from a minimum of 20 to 120 minutes, depending on the kind of tool it's used with. 

 The EP20 has a built-in indicator that allows you to check how much power it has left while in use or even while stored. This 40V battery has a charging time of 70 minutes using the 2 Ampere Redback EC20 charger, while 36 minutes on the 5 Ampere Redback EC50 charger. There are three identifiable differences of the EP20 amongst the Redback 40V battery series, its gray color marker on top, a 2.0Ah printed on the side, and its weight of 1.98 lbs (0.9 kg), which is the lightest of them all.
