Thanks to its 40-volt, 4-amp hour lithium-ion battery and electric DC brushless motor this Redback Ice Auger has the potential to be the most reliable, constant, and long-lasting tool you will ever own. A 5-pin planetary gear system provides lightweight durability and high power density for unmatched performance that can handle the constant pressures and torque of cutting through Ice over and over. 

 Innovative high-performance cutting via dual stainless auger blades provides fast and efficient cutting ensuring less time and fatigue drilling and more time fishing. With an 8” diameter and 80” cutting depth, this auger is the perfect size for your next ice fishing excursion.

The Redback E808C-KIT4A features ergonomic handles with both the power trigger and the safety switch on the right-hand side. The Forward/reverse control switch is also found on the right and runs forward for cutting, and reverse to remove slush from the hole.

Included is a 5-amp rapid-charge battery charging station that can bring a 4.0Ah battery back to full charge in as little as 62 minutes. This charger (Redback EC50) can be mounted on the wall if desired and features an Electric Status Monitor that displays the current battery charge, and includes technology that monitors each individual battery cell in order to reduce premature battery failure due to overcharging. 

The included 40v 4.0Ah battery (Redback EP40) is a lithium-ion battery that weighs less than 3lbs, yet is capable of providing over an hour and a half of run time on a single charge.
